The system is expected to be activated in 2025 as according to reports, the economic staff, despite the rise in property prices in the market, does not plan to proceed next year with changes in property values.
In 2024, there will only be targeted corrections in municipalities that have filed objections and the expansion of the property system to 2,167 areas across the country will “run”.
The list of areas that will acquire property values for the first time includes:
-Attica. From Varkiza to Legreina, Agia Marina, Agios Nikolaos, Charakas, Daskalio, areas from Porto Rafti to the area of Thorikos, areas in the coastal zone of Aspropyrgos, all areas on the islands of Salamina, Kythera and in Aegina the areas of Perdika, Mesagros, Souvala etc.
-Thessaloniki. Areas near the capital and settlements located towards Lagada.
-Akhaia. All coastal areas, including Diakopto, Aegeira, Platanos, Bank, Selianitika, Psathopyrgos, Vrachnaiika, etc.
-Crete. Areas of coastal settlements in all four prefectures
-Messinia. All coastal areas up to Kalo Nero.
-Carditsa. Smokovo Baths, Loutropigi, Mavrommati, Vlasi etc.
-Trikala. Pertouli, Elati, Pili, Pili, Kastraki, Farkadona, Trygona, Megalochori etc.

Joining the system will automatically bring adjustments to ENFIA, transfer taxes, transfer taxes, VAT, presumed living and imputed income and to fees and contributions calculated on the basis of objective value.
