Passive House is the leading international standard for sustainable building design, reducing energy use to a minimum,

We are in a climate emergency. And buildings are the main culprit for carbon emissions, accounting for 40% of total global energy consumption.

The Passive House is the leading international standard for sustainable building design, minimising energy use, maximising the use of renewables and providing high standards of comfort and health. Over 75,000 buildings have been certified to this standard worldwide.

The Hellenic Institute of Passive Building (H.I.P.A.K.) is an independent organisation in the construction industry that promotes the passive building standard in Greece and the wider Balkan and SE Mediterranean region. Since 2012, EIFAK has been participating in the global passive building movement and is a member of the International Passive House Association (iPHA). The Passive House standard is internationally recognized and verified as the most reliable way of designing and implementing all types of buildings that offer high energy efficiency, comfort, economy and quality of life at the same time. EIPAK offers multiple services to engineers, technicians, public and private institutions and the general public.
